Biography

Tracy's passion for family law is strengthened on a daily basis as she observes how lives are impacted and improved. It is her belief that family law is one of the most rewarding practice areas in the law and she is honored to assist in improving the lives of women, men, and children through her practice.

FAMILY LAW AS A CAREER
Initially desiring to practice health law, Tracy applied to law school where she developed varied legal experience through diverse internships with Johns Hopkins Hospital Legal Department, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, the Attorney General's Office and the Public Defender's Office. Tracy developed a strong passion for family law while serving on the Family Law Moot Court team, and for family law clients while serving as a student attorney for the University's Family Law Clinic. As a student attorney, Tracy provided pro bono representation for victims of domestic violence and persons of limited economic means.

Upon graduation, Tracy continued her legal development by working at private family law practice in Anne Arundel County. While at the firm, Tracy was able to deepen her knowledge and experience in the vast family law arena and was promoted to an Associate Attorney and given the opportunity to litigate varied family law cases.

With the knowledge and experience gained from her family law opportunities, Tracy opened her own family law office. Her office is located in Columbia, Maryland near The Mall in Town Center. Tracy provides representation for divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, protective orders and many other areas of family law. She also provides assistance with estate planning which includes wills and powers of attorney, recognizing that when parties divorce, one's estate plan typically changes.

EDUCATION
Tracy attended Hampton University as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Scholar and graduated with Honors in Biological Sciences. After graduating, Tracy conducted biomedical research at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine before embarking on an eight-year career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Tracy later obtained a Master's in Business Administration with Honors from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business which included international studies in Asia and Europe in Management and Finance. Upon completion of her Masters, Tracy transitioned from pharmaceuticals to healthcare consulting and joined an international consulting firm in Washington D.C.
